3rd World Farmer

What are the challenges faced by farmers in L.E.D.C's?
L.E.D.C's have little money and recourses. Therefore, they are in danger of natural disasters, and other people. Unfortunately, they only have money for basic needs, and they have to work extra hard to get it.

In what ways are farming and poverty linked to development?
Most farmers are in poverty, and they can only think of basic needs, so they can't get education. They work hard, but gain very little. So with little money, they cannot think of long term goals.

Which SLR does this link to and why?
I think this is linked to Live Ethically. We need to understand and help people out of the poverty cycle, before their country goes into a development trap.

What did I learn from the resources posted on the blog?
I leant about everything that I know right now. Before this, I was completely unaware of these people in poverty.

How will this affect me in the future?
I think that I will have more sympathy for other people stuck in a poverty trap. It's almost impossible to get out of the poverty cycle without help.  I might help others a lot more when I have the power for it. Even now, I can do small things.

AIDS day reflection

Me and my classmates(and Mrs. P.) worked together for a mega-event.... AIDS day! We all worked together to make this spectacular event. I wasn't here on the actual day, but I did part-take in the preparations. We all helped make video's, and make a speech. In total, we profited 5,000 RM. The actual amount of money given to the AIDS was 2,500 RM.

The Girl Effect

This video is about the Girl Effect. I think the Girl Effect will be amazing if we can pull it off, and it would help community greatly. The villages will strive too, and they won't have to struggle. I think that the girls will have to overcome their self esteem. Check out the video below!
